This month’s featured project has a unique story: updating the kitchen of a parsonage in our local community! The kitchen was outdated and in need of a refresh, so G.R.I.N.D. Remodeling came in to give new life to the kitchen cabinets.
The Project Details
The kitchen in this parsonage contained older, outdated cabinets that were still structurally sound and in good condition. We suggested doing a cabinet refacing which would help to save money but still brighten up the look and feel of the space. After color and hardware selections were made, we got to work on ordering and preparing the materials in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

The Remodeling Process
Our team members worked in the parsonage to deliver our signature refacing product; that means the existing cabinet boxes were left in place and the doors and drawer fronts were removed. Next, a ¼ -inch-thick veneer made from premium solid wood was installed over the faces of the existing cabinet boxes to update the appearance. Lastly, brand-new, custom manufactured doors, drawer fronts, and hardware were installed to complete the look.
